A hopeless woman sits grieving in an old neglected room
for she is a widow, missing the company of her groom
I present to you this rose, in hoping you can see
this elaborate blossom represents thee
for every fallen petal is a million fallen tears
feel no despair the petals will slowly dissappear
every thorn on the stem represents dozens of sleepless nights
as you loose the battle you were'nt prepared to fight
but without it's resources the rose won't stay alive
do not feed your grief and it will soon die
i hope you understand the rose represents grief
